Since we left our sweet little town of Wilmore in June, we have literally been living out of our suitcases! It has been quite an experience. It has been challenging at times, but also full of many blessings. We have enjoyed lots of extra time with our families in Alabama and Georgia, as well as friends in many different states. Some of the adventure of our summer included a flat tire on the interstate as we were making the move from Kentucky, chasing down a mail truck with important Bulgarian documents, having to go to a funeral home to get documents notarized when the State Department wouldn't do it, and many, many detours and reroutes trying to get all of our paperwork submitted. The girls have started homeschool and we are adjusting to our new way of life. We have been absolutely blown away each and every day at how we could feel the Lord clearing paths and obstacles and guiding us every step of the way. A huge part of this has been the support that so many of you have shown us through your prayers, opening your homes, sharing your resources, and helping to get us funded so that we could get to work. Our hearts are full as we prepare to depart in just a few days. Please keep us in your prayers as we say our "see ya laters" and then actually touch down and get acclimated in Bulgaria.
